He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Centak Sr. and Cecelia Bondoch Centak; his brother John Centak; and his brother-in-law Daniel Masakowski. He is survived by: his wife Judith O'Boyle Centak; his children, Scott Centak (Aubrey) and Kelly Frail (Robert); his granddaughter Riley Frail; his daughter Holly Eichhorn (David); his siblings, David Centak (Mary) and Yvonne Masakowski; and his sisters-in-law, Colleen Zupancic and Rose Centak. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Aloysius Church (143 Division St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
