James F. Kerestes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James F. Kerestes of Hanover Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 13, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Kerestes and Catherine Louise Kerestes (Zoeller); and his siblings, Andrew Kerestes, John Kerestes, Francis Kerestes, Dorothy L. Hughes (Kerestes) and Jean A. Pisaneschi (Kerestes).
He is survived by: his children, Rachel Kerestes (Erich Schwarz) of Fernandina Beach, FL and James F. Kerestes II (Erin Williams) of Muncie, IN; his grandson Kurt Schwarz of Fernandina Beach, FL; and his brothers, Joseph Kerestes, Sr. of Hanover Township and Robert Kerestes, Sr. of Hanover Township. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mathew's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wilkes-Barre, where Jim was a lifelong member.
