She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cyril Guinard and Martha Helen McPherson; and her husband Orville "Bud" Hough. She is survived by: her sister Linda Kile; her children, Stewart Hough (Lisa), Brian Hough and Cheryl Hough; her grandchildren, Cassandra Stone (Justin), Jonathan Hough, Rachael Hartley (Joshua), Katelyn Frey (Lukas) and Emily DeLuca; her stepgrandchildren, Brittany Huff (Mitlo), Arron Huff and Bella Mitlo; her great grandchildren, Vivienne and Lila Stone; her nieces, Sharon and Monica; and her nephew Brett.
Because no one loved getting lost in a good book more than Betty, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local library in her honor.
