He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Gilbert (Sharon) of Allentown and Timothy Gilbert (Lori) of Schnecksville; his grandchildren, Daniel Haftl (Michael), Mary Gilbert and Benjamin Gilbert (Erika); and his siblings, Fredric Gilbert (Margaret) of Slatington and Maryann Gilbert (Carol Sverha) of Bethlehem.
