He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hoover and Christina Emerson Hoover; and his brother Jim Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Swingle Hoover; his daughters, Kim Heater and Wendy Stevens (Michael); his siblings, William Hoover of Tennesse, Duane Hoover of Elmhurst, Carl Hoover of Scranton and Ann Bentler of Covington Twp; his grandsons, Richard McLain III, Grant McLain, Kevin Stevens and Caden Stevens; and his great grandchildren, Kennedy McLain and Joseph Stevens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
