She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Manning and Mary Sickman Manning; her husband Warren Hess; her grandson Andrew Hess; and her siblings, Howard Manning, Harry Manning, Martin Manning, Pauline Charles, Helen Denlinger and Ethel Campbell.

She is survived by: her children, Mickey Hess (Cindy Heslin) of Travelers Rest, SC, Sandy Heller of Lancaster and Sherry Hess (Helen Hiller) of Norristown; her grandchildren, Rob, Kyle Heller, Joel Hess and Nicholas D'Alfonso; her great grandchildren, Landon, Jacob, Adam and Lucas Heller; and her brother Robert Manning (Peggy) of Landisville.
