Newman of Hamilton, Pennsylvania, born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Heller and Elizabeth Heller (Spangenberg); her sister Joyce Schuler; and her cousin June Justice (Mark Newman). She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Oney (Jeffrey Velander) of Brodheadsville, Sonia Kern of East Stroudsburg, Sandra Kunkle-Fischer (Darren Fischer) of Cape Coral, FL and Tania Iannia (Joseph) of Bangor; her grandchildren, Joshua Oney, Jillian Oney, Danielle Amil, Julie Kern, Sara Kern, Joseph Kunkle, Zachary Fischer, Jacob Oney, Molly Mitchell and Lilly Iannia; her great grandchildren, Allissa Bush, Thomas Egan, Olivia Oney, Evy Cappa, Holden Oney, Camille Amil, Joie Struczynski, Maximus Amil, Ayla Kunkle, Jaxton Kunkle and Destiny Brobst; and her brothers, Harry Heller of East Stroudsburg and John Heller of Stroudsburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Luke's Hospice House.
