He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis and Mary Catherine Ruddy (O'Donnell). He is survived by: his sisters, Anna "Nancy" Ruddy-O'Brien of Long Beach and Mary Grace Ruddy of Island Park. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (1426 US-209, Gilbert, PA 18331). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Indiantown Gap National Veterans Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
