It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Victor H. Rush Jr. (Hamburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 26, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Victor was a United States Marine Corps veteran having served from 1955 - 1962. Victor appreciated nature and owned and operated Vic's Lawn Service & Landscaping by Vic in the 1960's and 1970's. He became an apiary in the 1980's and was the proud owner and proprietor of Rush Apiaries, Inc. Victor loved his garden, building it bigger every year and selling his fruits and vegetables as well as his honey products at the Saucon Valley and Leesport Farmer's Markets.
Victor was a chemical engineer with a long work history in cylinder remediation, industrial gas applications and was experienced in hazardous materials handling and clean-up. Victor traveled the world and brought home recipes for gastronomic delights from around the globe.
He was predeceased by his parents, Victor H. Rush Sr. and Lillian Rush (Parker). He is survived by his children, Victor H. Rush III (Kate), Cathy L. Lange (Curtis) and Cheryl L. Rush. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Victor's memory to Fort Indiantown Gap Cemetery, for winter wreaths.
