He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Samide and Alice Samide (Peach). He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Samide (Bean); his children, Edward J. (Angeli Samide) and Laura A. (Kevin Tang); and his grandchildren, Jamella Samide, Lillian Tang and Grace Tang. He is also survived by four brothers, and one sister.
