He was predeceased by: his wife Edna J. Hartman (Strausser); his parents, Francis A. Hartman and Bertha Hartman (Peter); and his siblings, Henry, Paul, Irvin, Milton Hartman, Ellen Reppert, Annie Ely, Bertha Adams and Ruth Dries.
He is survived by: his children, Russel C. Hartman, Jr. (Joan), Larry W. Hartman (Terri), Klinesville, Linda L. (late David P. Senft) and Tilden Twp; his grandchildren, Jody Hartman, Shawn Hartman, Ryan Hartman, Eric Hartman, Christine DeLong, Kimberly Kissinger and Heather Sites; and his sister Joyce Saks. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
