He is survived by: his wife Constance Popovitch (Higgins); his children, Robert, James, Dianne, Susanne, Stephen, Andrew, Constance, Kathryn and Helen; and his sisters, Helen Vilkelis of Poughkeepsie, NY and Joyce Cary of Greenville, NC.. He is also survived by thirty-five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
