He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Bauer (Chelius) and George A. Bauer; and his daughter Pamela J. (Lloyd Showalter). He is survived by: his spouse Michele M. Bauer (Moffett) of Hamburg; his children, Linda M. (George Phile), George (Brenda), Nicholas Jr., Steven (Mary Anne) and Nicole Bauer; and his grandchildren, Mark Phile, Tim Bauer, Ashley Duda, Jon, Bryan Showalter, Eric, Sean, Paige Bauer and Michael Stine II.
