He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Monastero and Carolyn Monastero (Pink); his daughter Celeste Monastero; his granddaughter Emily; and his sisters, Nina Clark and Eileen Monastero.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Monastero (Urban); his daughters, Tamara "Tami" Dunleavy (Nathan) and Alicia Garner; and his brother Francis Monastero (Jo Ann). He is also survived by his six grandchildren; two nephews; and two grandnephews.
