It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Marchakitus of Hamburg, Pennsylvania, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Marchakitus; her parents, Zigmund Augustinski and Elizabeth Augustinski (Massaker); and her sisters, Carol Hassaj and Blanche Baggett.
She is survived by: her son Douglas Marchakitus (Kate Matlack); and her siblings, Elizabeth Sincavage, George Augustinski, Kathy Blaum and Zigmund Augustinski. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
