He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Mengle and Miranda E. Mengle (Schloppich); his granddaughter Katelynn Mengle; and his brother Earl Mengle. He is survived by: his wife Ruth A. Mengle (Kline); his children, Larry L. (Sharon J.), Robert A. (Cindy L.), Muhlenberg Twp and Barbara A. Bittner (David); his grandchildren, Jeremy Miller, Miranda Reeser (Matt), Jared Mengle (Shawna), Aimee Heller (Owen), Allyson Schwartzmiller (Matt), Jennifer Mengle and Kendra Mengle; and his great grandchildren, Aidan Miller, Wyatt, Eliza Reeser, Joseph, Vincent Heller, Grace, Amerlia Schwartzmiller, Tanner and Tucker Mengle.
