It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Schappell of Hamburg, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 19, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Arlan Schappell and Marilyn Elizabeth Schappell (Mantz); and his sister Colleen Schappell. He is survived by: his son Cody Snyder of Hamburg; his sister Kathy Ballick of Sinking Spring; his aunt Margo; and his uncle Roger Schappell of Littleton, CO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to West Lawn United Methodist Church for their Feeding & Sheltering Mission Fund.
