He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Rhodes and Sarah F. Purvis; and his brother Joseph Rhodes. He is survived by: his wife Brenda L. Rhodes (Heckman); his children, Christopher D. Rhodes, Daniel D. Rhodes, Gabriel K. Rhodes, Timothy Heckman and Jenny Conklin; his siblings, Connie Purvis and Timothy Rhodes; and his grandchildren, Emma R. Rhodes, Kianna Conklin, Morgan Weiant and Cheyanne Weiant.
