He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarkson S. Zimmerman and Catherine S. Zimmerman (Sorar); and his brothers, Robert, Larry, Barry and Eric.
He is survived by: his wife Cathie J. Zimmerman (Strausser); his stepmother Katie Zimmerman (Breidegan); his sons, Clark W. "Buddy" Zimmerman, Jr. (Jennifer) and Chad W. Zimmerman (Deb); his grandchildren, Owen W. Zimmerman, Emily G. Zimmerman and Grace C. Roberts; and his sister Janet C. Christman (late Stanley P. Christman) of Brandenton, FL..
