With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty DeLong of Hamburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 29, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jacob L. DeLong; her parents, Abner R., Sr. and Ivy Esther Huntsberger (Calaman); her son Douglas L. DeLong; and her siblings, C. Jean Bachman, Shirley A. Sterner and Abner R. Huntsberger, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Linda L. Evans (Charles M. Evans, III); and her daughter-in-law Carolyn DeLong. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc. (65 S Fourth St, Hamburg, PA 19526). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at the Berks County Memorial Gardens (201 Evansville Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522).
