He is survived by: his children, Chuck Troup, Tom Troup (Gloria Troup-Foley), Catherine LaPenta (Tom), Martha Troup-Mayforth (Pete), Rob Troup (Lesley) and Amy Mountz (Daryl); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Tedrick (Ty), Tyler Mayforth, Dante LaPenta (Amanda), Zach LaPenta, Kyle Troup, Trevor Troup, Hunter Troup, Riley Troup and Jonathan Troup; his great grandchildren, Carmine LaPenta, Camille LaPenta, Jack Tedrick and Ava Tedrick; his half-sister Eleanor Troup of Atlanta; and his former wife Marge Troup of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Operation Smile, a charitable organization which Art supported for many years, devoted to cleft palate repair for children,.
