It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alesia Ely (Hamburg, Pennsylvania), born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Deesing and Dorothy A. Deesing (Souders); and her siblings, Wanda Bowman and Jonathan Deesing. She is survived by: her husband Kevin K. Ely; her pet Rosie; her son Avery T. Greenawalt; her stepdaughter Tara L. Watt; her siblings, Joey Deesing, Linda Trate, Cindy Deesing, Tonya Bylina, Michelle Bonenfant and Nathan Deesing; and her parents-in-law, Nancy A. Jacklin and Edgar Ely. She is also survived by grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA 19526 to assist the family with final expenses.
