She was predeceased by : her parents, Merle Chidester and Phyllis Chidester; her brother Gene Chidester; and her sister-in-law Anne Chidester. She is survived by : her husband David; her children, Karen Wasson (David), Cindy Wood, Kevin Wood (Laurie) and Wendy Brundza (Charles); her grandchildren, Melissa Wasson, Austin, Connor Brundza and Norah Wood; her siblings, Mary Young (Robert), Roger Chidester, Robert Chidester (Mary), Douglas Chidester (Carol) and Edward Chidester (Marcia); and her siblings-in-law, Paul Ranucci and Cally Wood. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Friends may call on Monday at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to a charity benefitting children.
