He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur F. Grier and Elizabeth E. Grier (Smith); his wife Beverly Y. Grier (Thompson); his son Stanley D. Grier; and his son-in-law Jimmy Decker.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah J. (John W. Winans), Doreen Y. Armitage of Hallstead, PA and David S.; his daughter-in-law Jodi Grier of Binghamton, NY; his grandsons, Michael Grier, Jonathan Winans, Jason Winans, Bryan Grier, Brandon and Ty Decker; and his siblings, Ruth Shoemaker, Richard Grier, James Grier, Leon Grier and Evelyn Stark. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
