She was predeceased by : her husband Carmon Porter; and her son Alan Porter. She is survived by : her sons, Dewitt Porter (Nancy), Timothy Porter, Gregory Porter and Sherman Porter (Molly); her stepdaughter Marylou Salsman (Kevin); and her brother Neal Griffing (Jane). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
