He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Marie. He is survived by: his children, Tina Marie Van Gorden, John Rood (Veronica) and Raymond Jr. Rood (Alma); his son-in-law David Van Gorden; his grandchildren, Malinda Stabell (Richard), Megan Foster (Devon), Josh Rood (Lauren) and Jordan Rood (Mallorie); his stepgrandchildren, Natasja, Ashleigh and Shanyn; his siblings, Betty Dietrich, Dorothy Phoebus and Robert Rood Sr.; his pet Blackie; and his close friend George Stover, II. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc. (25 Susquehanna Ave, Hallstead, PA 18822). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
