He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Gaughan Sr. and Teresa A. Gaughan; and his brother Danny. He is survived by: his brothers, Chuck, Tim, Tom and Joe (Cindy); his nephew Ethan; his niece Elizabeth (A. Tomas Guerrero); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Theo and Josie; his nephews, Danny and Connor; and his close friend Kathy Wilbur.
