It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H. Whittenberg of Hallstead, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Virginia; his children, Charity Trumbore (Andrew), Ivy Rubin (Seth) and John Whittenberg Jr.; his stepchildren, Bob Tompkins (Deb), David D. Tompkins (Sharlene), Amy Tompkins and Josh Peters (Abby Rounds); his siblings, Karen McLaughlin, Kathleen Blow and Michael Whittenberg (Jana); and his siblings-in-law, Royce Howell and Becky Bovier. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
