He was predeceased by: his son Roger Slocum; and his parents, Clayton Slocum and Betty Bush. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Ruth; his daughter Dale Weida (Rob); his grandchildren, Shaunna Holmes (Nick), Christopher Fico (Kayley) and Alexis Hancock (Will); and his great grandchildren, Aunalie, Logan, Adaline, Brinley, Beau, William and Gianna. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
