He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward P. Eckenrod and Carmella Eckenrod Sr.; and his sisters, Barbara Jean Moss and Janet Law. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Clifford "Troy" Eckenrod and Cheryl Rolston (Michael); his grandchildren, Devlin and Zzakary; his siblings, Russell Eckenrod, Roseann Burkett and Dorothy Pohlman; and his friend Kenny Wescott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc. (25 Susquehanna Ave, Hallstead, PA 18822). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #357, PO Box 429, Hallstead, PA 18822.
