We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Ruth A. Maurer of Halifax, Pennsylvania, born in Danville, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hoover and Lena Hoover (Peifer). She is survived by: her husband Nevin A. Maurer; her children, Deborah Ann Hoover of Paxton and David A. Hoover (Jill); her stepchildren, Lori, Nevin Jr., Keith and Pamela; and her brother Kenneth Hoover (Noma) of Malta. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, The family requests that memorial donations may be made to the Church through Bishop Lewis Leeper, at 319 North 2nd St. Halifax PA, 17032.
