She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Dunleavy and Elizabeth Dunleavy; her son Steven R. Mattis; and her brothers, Milford and Jackie Dunleavy.

She is survived by: her husband Karl W. Mattis; her children, Karl Mattis, Jr. (Jeanne) of Severna Park, MD, Patrick Mattis of Halifax, Karleen Jaffres (Loic) of Halifax, Tammy Tambourine of Millersburg and Kelly Yarrish (Steve) of Elkridge, MD.; and her brother Tom Dunleavy (Annette) of New Cumberland. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.

The family requests that memorial donations may be made in her name to Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 202 Zimmerman Rd., Millersburg, PA 17061.
