She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Sweppenheiser and Marie Sweppenheiser (Wilkinson); her husband Kenneth Griffiths; her former husband Russell E. Wertz; and her brothers, Richard and Roger Sweppenheiser.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Kelly) of Millersburg, Michelle Miller (Todd) of Elizabethville, Nicole (Tim) of Halifax and Matthew (Molly) of Berrysburg; her grandchildren, Russell, Shannon, Brooke, Tyanne, Taylor, Kylie, Kortlynd, Jacob, Brandt, Vanessa and John; and her siblings, David, Karen, Sandra, Mary and Gail. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
