We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2022, at the age of 89, Jacqueline M. Hoover of Halifax, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray A. Grimm and Pauline Grimm (Cooper); her husband Paul H. Hoover; and her daughter Sandra M. Hoover-Raynes. She is survived by: her sons, Michael P. Hoover (Cathy) of Halifax, Richard L. Hoover of Halifax and David W. Hoover (Cheryl) of Halifax; her grandchildren, Matthew, Nichole and Christian; and her stepgrandchildren, Roxanne, Mark and Steve. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and several step-great and great great grandchildren.

The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Halifax UM Church, 105 Wind Hill Drive, Halifax, PA. 17032 or Polk Personal Care, 301 North Street, Millersburg, PA 17061, or Residential Home Health & Residential Hospice, 100 Sterling Pkwy #110, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.

“Paul and Jackie were my neighbors for the first nine years of life. They were both so nice and the best neighbors ever. They would allow my brother and I help in their huge garden and let us pick strawberries! Boxes and boxes of strawberries! Rest in peace Jackie. You are now reunited with Paul, who I'm sure was waiting for you. Sending my deepest condolences to all of the family, especially Rick, who is the one I remember the most. God Bless you all!
