He was predeceased by: his parents, Fannie Matter and Charles F. Matter. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Matter (McShane); his children, Debra Zimmerman of Halifax, Melanie Matter of Pittsburgh and Jody Matter of Halifax; and his grandchildren, Taylor Matter of Halifax and Whitney Zimmerman of Erie. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren and many friends.
