He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Luther Deitz and Kathryn Deitz (Duncan); his former wife Joyce Enders Deitz (Rowe); his sons, George, Jr., Randy and Edward; and his siblings, Harold Deitz, Helen Deitch and Shirley Salisbury.
He is survived by: his wife June Deitz (Maus); his children, Maxine Goodman (Bill) of Enola, Gregory Enders (Dianne) of Halifax and Wayne Deitz (Katrina) of Millersburg; and his sister Kathryn Rowe of Newville. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
