With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Jean Byerly (Halifax, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Moore and Mary Koons (Davis); her husband Randolph Byerly; her brothers, Clair and William Hossler; and her siblings-in-law, Gary Hawk, Stephen Emery, Jacqueline Hossler and Mun-Hui Byerly.
She is survived by: her children, Erique Klinger (Frank) and Matthew Byerly (Sherry); her grandchildren, Grace, Grant, Owen, Landon Klinger, Hope, Faith and Mark Byerly; her great grandchildren, Camryn and Scarlet; her sister Star Emery; and her siblings-in-law, Anne Hawk, Kathy Reisch, Joanne Staley, James Byerly, David Reisch and Dean Staley. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd. - Elizabethville (103 W Main St, Elizabethville, PA 17023). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Halifax Ambulance Building (31 Bunker Hill Rd, Halifax, PA 17032).
