He is survived by: his wife Roberta L. Powell; his children, Jeff Slater of Lancaster and Andrea "Lynn" Slater-Witmer (Rick) of Parksville, KY; his stepchildren, Todd McDonald (Kelly) of New Hampshire, Tami Maloney of Virginia and Troy McDonald (Kathy) of Greenville; his siblings, Flossie Rager of Mercer and Bruce Slater (Lorna) of Grove City; and his grandchildren, Ryan Slater (Katelyn), Derrick Witmer, Sophie Witmer, Brandon McDonald, Mitchell Maloney, Lane Maloney, Kayla Madden (Matt), Owen Brickell (Sherah), Amanda Adams, Rob Adams (Falon) and Katie LaBrozzi (Justin).
