She was predeceased by: her parents, Madison N. and Cecil T.; her husband Clyde Kenneth Varner; her siblings, Virgil Peterson, Merle Peterson, Paul Peterson, Esther Varner, Dorothy See and Marty Musser; and her half-siblings, Glenn Peterson, Wayne Peterson, Herman Peterson, Leroy Grinnell, Alda Straub and Harriet King.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Williams (Douglas) of New Bern, NC, Daniel Varner (Ruth) of Beaufort, NC, Edward Varner (Nancy) of Greenville, PA and Timothy Varner (Robin) of New Bern, NC; her brothers, Kenneth Peterson of Hadley, PA and Dale Peterson; her grandchildren, Pete Williams, Jenny Byan, Luke Varner, Levi Varner, Travis Varner and Benjamin Varner; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Noah, Alex, Barbie, Ronan and Zelia.
