He was predeceased by: his parents, John Austin and Betty Jane Bell, Jr. (Pruss); and his grandson John A. Bell. He is survived by: his wife Marcia A. Koehl; his children, John A. Bell, IV (Kelly) of Hadley and Megan M. Schreiber (Aaron) of Greenville; his brother James W. Bell (Roni Sue) of Pittsburgh; and his grandchildren, Jake Bell, Ashley Bell, Allana Jaussen (Peter), Brett Schreiber, Alyssa Schreiber and Carly "Chuck" Schreiber.
The family has suggested that memorial tributes may be made to Strayhaven, 94. Donation Road, Greenville, PA 16125.
