He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank John King and Dorothy Betz King; his wife Dolores Vandegrift King; and his siblings, Frank II, Charles, Harold, Edgar, Richard (Bert), Dorothy Fleck, Albert "Buddy" and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Robert (Monica) of Ambler, Barbara Shatzer (Christopher) of Chambersburg and John (Sharon) of East Norriton; his grandchildren, Jonathan Robert King (Victoria), Courtney Shatzer, David Shatzer (Danielle Bond) and Emily King; his stepgrandchildren, Kate Bertolet (Andy), Jessica Hyncik (Christopher), Carrie Marvill, Sarah Marvill, Kevin Marvill, Emily Marvill and Mikhala Stevens; and his siblings, Betty Manuel (David), Elaine Benner (Dale), Marilyn Rubincam (Don), Patricia Antell and Gerald "Jerry" (Merilyn).
