He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Levi Werley and Mildred Nellie Werley; his wife Rita Werley; and his brother Neil Werley (June). He is survived by: his children, David Werley (Denise) and Deborah Werley-Slaughter; his siblings, LLew Werley (Wilma), Sylvia Richards (Richard) and Linda Pine (Bill); and his grandchildren, Sarah, Miranda and Tessa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
