He is survived by: his wife Jean Mc Coy Salwen; his children, Diana Reynolds (Elmer), Susan Abla (Lance) and David Salwen (Joyce); and his brother Jesse Salwen (Martha) of Hickory, NC.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Lower Gwynedd Township Police Benevolent Assn or to Shriners Hospital for Children can be made in honor of Harvey Salwen.
