He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Wooley, Sr. and Ruth L. Hunter Peters; his wife Barbara Jean Peters August; and his siblings, Oscar Wooley, Jr., Nile Hunter, Ruth Hollabaugh and Nellie Mae Wooley.

He is survived by: his children, William Wooley (Laurie Curtis) of Meadville, Tami-Sue Murphy (Richard) of Guys Mills and Betty Rawlings (Richard) of Meadville; his adoptive daughter Mary VanHouten of Guys Mills; his grandchildren, Kaycee, Andrew, Michael Wooley, Joseph Murphy, Haylee Bendorf, Adrienne Wheaton, Brandon, Caiden Rawlings, Eve Lynn, Christopher Mailliard, Cassandra Fronce and James Choitz; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Harper, Daynah, Ryder, Kylee and Finley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
