We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Laurie A. Humes-Ashbaugh of Guys Mills, Pennsylvania, born in Meadville, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Laurie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Laurie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Jerry and Betty Synder of Meadville, PA.. She is survived by: her parents, Karl Humes and Carol Humes of Guys Mills; her sister Patricia Solzat (Ronald) of Shippensburg, PA; her children, Carolyn Verfuss of Rochester, NY, Barbara Jones of Meadville, PA and Karl Ashbaugh of Hesston, KS; and her granddaughters, Grace Verfuss, Audrey Verfuss (AJ) and Arya Jones.
