He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Smith and Kathleen Smith (Bovard); and his wife Faye McFadden. He is survived by: his children, Scott Smith (Machelle) and Janet Smith; his grandchildren, Zachary Smith (Jenna Loux) and Abby Walker (Luke); his great grandchildren, Eli, Owen and Lexi Walker; his brother Leroy Smith (Martha); his friend Earleene Swafford; and his siblings, Ruth Wunch, Richard and James Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
