She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leroy Coates and Margaret Katherine Coates; her husband John William Tighe; and her siblings, Nancy Coombs, Jean Nelson and Jack Coates.
She is survived by: her children, Brian McWilliams Tighe and Brenda Smith (Tighe); her son-in-law Timothy J. Smith; and her grandson Brandon C. Tighe. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandson, nieces and nephews.
