He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther G. Wood and Gladys M. Wood (Pritchard); his former wife Sandra Lou "Sandy" Dilts; his daughter Mariellen Thorne; his sisters, Lilly M. Guthrie and Georgia Fay Hewitt; and his grandson Justin Griffin.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; and his children, Shirley J. Ravenscraft (Harvey), Susan Perry, Sr. (Philip), Sherry Wagner (Tom), Finchville, Sheila Porterfield (Bill) and Donald Bonanni. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
