He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. Parker and Lola Jane Parker (Gormley); and his wife Harriet Louise Filer. He is survived by: his son Gary R. Parker (Carolyn) of Nacogdoches, TX; his granddaughter Madelaine Parker; his son Steven Parker; and his brothers, John E. and George B. Parker.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Russell's memory to any local charity.
