With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert L. Herndon of Grove City, Pennsylvania, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 4, 2022 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary V. Herndon (Reed) and Floyd R. "Reds" Herndon; his wife Barbara A DeMarsh; his grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Zavoral and Michael R. Herndon; and his brothers, Sonny and Ricky Herndon.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Zavoral (Ernie) of Canfield, OH, Mark Herndon, Michael Herndon (Tammy) and Heidi Fricke (Ronald); his grandchildren, Ernie Zavoral (Jen), Kelly Harkey (Greg), Emily Pezzuolo (Gary), Jessica Worgul (Mike), Robbie, Rachael, Zachary, Tyler Herndon, Torrie Wroblewski (Jeremy), Ronnie Fricke (Joy) and Elisa Fricke; his great grandchildren, Thomas, Mary, Elizabeth, Matthew Zavoral, Madeline, John, Vivian, Isabel Worgul, Leo Herndon, Kyrie Clark, Lilian Pezzuolo, Giulia, Lorenzo Harkey, Makenzie and Maverik Wroblewski; and his nephew Chris Herndon. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and his only nephew.
